It's warm and cozy at the Lili of the Valley challenge

Good evening with my 2nd post of the evening. I'm entering this card in this week's Lili of the Valley challenge which is warm and cozy. Although an outdoor image, the cute girl looks very "warm and cozy" in her hat and fluffy hand warmer! The paper is out of my Christmas stash box so I'm afraid I can't remember where it is from. The heart border is a fabulous Martha Stewart punch and the flowers (covered in Stickles as always!) are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon and ric rac is from my local wool shop. The weather forecast predicts a dry and sunny weekend so hopefully we won't need the winter clothing just yet!

Too slow tortoise!

Here's a card I've made using an image from the Digistamp Boutique. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and the green and brown papers are from a fab pack from Lidl. I decided to paper piece the tortoise's shell using DCWV Safari card (it is very glittery but doesn't show up very well in the photos). I've left space on there to personalise the card once I've decided who the recipient is going to be!

"Tis the season to be jolly!"

Here's the second card I have made for Christmas 2011! I have followed a sketch which was used on the front cover of August's Quick Cards, simple but I think it is very effective. The punch is Martha Stewart (I am hoping to invest in some more of these when I go to the Hobbycraft show at the NEC) and the christmas papers are from Papermania. The poinsettia is from the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts and I have added some Stickles for a bit of bling! The card was simple to make so I may have to make some more of these to send this christmas. Hope you are all getting on well with your christmas card making!

Birthday Girl!

Good afternoon! This is one of two posts today so I'm progressing well with card making (although I did make this one a few weeks ago!) This is the birthday card I made for my niece's 5th birthday. She loves all things girly so this image from the Digistamp Boutique was perfect. I love to personalise cards by adding the recipient's name as I think it makes it that little bit more special.

My favourite card to date!

WOW! My 3rd post in one day, that is definitely a record for me! These Lili of the Valley images combined with  flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts are my favourite craft stash of the moment and I have made several cards over the last few days (hopefully I will be able to share them with you soon!). I especially like the 'Birthday Recipe' sentiment and I always like to add a bit of sparkle to my cards! Hope you like it! (Apologies for the poor quality photos, it's 10pm and very dark even in the living room with the lights on).

Lili of the Valley challenge 2

I decided to make another card to enter into the Lili of the Valley challenge as I just love their images. The spotty paper is BoBunny and the check paper is another magazine freebie. The button is from Rainbow ribbon and crafts and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts with a bit of added Stickles sparkle!

Lili of the Valley challenge

I've made this card for this week's Lili of the Valley challenge 'Button It'! The papers were a freebie from a magazine and the flowers are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts. I have also used a Martha Stewart border punch and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. I absolutely love these Lili of the Valley images (I have used Promarkers to colour this) and I will definitely be ordering some more soon!
